Brief Personal Update since my last blog
Its been a long long time since i published my last personal blog .
A lot happend since my last one.
For the lastone i was in Gurgaon ..now i'm in Tirupathi
After Gurgaon...
i left Gurgaon on Sept 10th 2006,
came to home and stayed ther for 2 weeks .
Went to Hyderabad on 24th ....joined in TIME mockcat
Stayed in Mehidipatnam (Rikki's room ) for abt 4 days ,then moved to Rakesh's room in
Shamlal, Begumpet ..with the intent of studying there,coz there would be no disturbance there.
Wht a bad step ...first 2 days it was ok
Then somehow we got a Internet connection ...tht's whn the track changed ...from studying to surfing
daily i used surf ..mostly forums,irc and uploading ,downloading ...all that shit
Totally wasted ..used to give mockcats ...but pathetic scores ...didn't prepare for 1 day .
And the D-Day came on 23rd November ....the paper was too easy ....which ruined my half chance ;)
Didn't expect much ....but thought that would be getting something better than the last time .
Then the Nxt week ..IRMA ...after that JMET on Dec 10th
Came back to home on 13th Dec ..i suppose .
Same routine life at home ...this time with some parental advice....told them to wait till the CAT results are out
Results came on 6th .... i suppose
I was in good sleep Rakesh called in the morning and asked for Reg No...gave it ..and he told me the pathetic score of 45 %ile
That's it ...a total shock for me ....i thought i didn't do well...but not that pathetic
Nvr thought i would be in that position ....
No Job pathetic CAT score ...then the JMET results ..didn't qualify
Then the parents tension ....My dad was so worried ,he took me to a education counsellor..that was the most embarassing thing for me.I knew more than wht he was tellin.
Nyway ...then i again came back to Hyd for job searchin ..this time it was to get hold of nything..couldn't bare the home tension.They started to think i wasn't gonna do nything.
So back to Hyd by jan 23rd or so ...then i joined in Naresh Technologies in Ameerpet for learning JAVA (full)...cost abt Rs 4500/-.Was attending the classes in the evevning session. In the mean time ...applied for few jobs online ...got calls from Google( Tech Support for their Checkout product) nd Shriram Transport Finance Co Ltd.(Management Trainee)
attended both of em ...cleared 3 rounds for Google, then they dumped for some reason.
After the shriram interview ...i thought they would hire me .
Forward to March ....got the call letter from Shriram .So then i decided to make a career shift .
Joined Shriram Transport Finance Co Ltd as a Management Trainee ...on 26th March 2007 in Chennai ,The salary was Rs 10420/-...first it was 1week training ... then on 31 st came back to home with the posting letter .
Posting was in Tirupathi Divisional Office .i was first in the training programme got an appreciation letter and 1000 as a prize ;-).
Nxt post Tirupathi ...Govindha Govindha ........... ;-)
