The Small Con ....
So i was sleeping in my Flat after a long week :spank:
In comes my friend,waking me up,saying that he needs to buy a mobile.
He said ,he got a cheap deal on Nokia 6680,it costs $300 odd,and he was gettin that for about $150 or so .Someone met him at the company ..and offered him that.Usually i'm not into that second deal stuff,stolen stuff,but my friend was very excited,so we go there and meet them.There were 2 people,they told some story that they got the phone from the Airport..somebody misplaced it...some shitty story.So we check the phone, inserted our card.....checked it.Then we took the phone to the Nokia dealer store..asked him whether its a good deal..He said U r lucky.I told my friend..its Ur choice,i won't be buying that kinda stuff anyway.Then we took the money from the ATM .
It was pretty hot that day,but one of them was wearing a Jacket ..kinda Odd.we should thought about that.So we were into final deal..about the cost.And we agreed for something like $130,we gave the money took the phone came back to the Flat.The phone was wrapped in a paper cover..we took it out ,it was kinda wet.It was not wet before :unsure: .We checked it clearly and found that we had been Conned :crybaby: :crybaby:
Its a chunk of mud in between the face plates of the phone.The person with the Jacket exchanged the phone,there was another good one,actual one in his jacket which he showed us in the first place,he exchanged it in the last minute.
We were not worried about the money(i didn't loose anything ;) ),but its just that ,when we knew we were ....we felt stupid,foolish.I kept thinkin for 2 days..how could we fooled ,so silly.I'll remeber that for a longtime.Yesterday i watched "The Sting",and laughed my bit at Lonnegan :rofl:
